Unfortunately...

I understand, but... at the same time we lost each other several times during that mess. And I made the huge mistake of going back without him, thinking there was no way he'd ever leave Wonderland just for me.

He's... protective of me. Sometimes overly so. And frankly March scares the hell out of me more than the Queen of Hearts ever did.

Sounds like you guys are still figuring out who each other is. I've always thought it interesting how quickly some people bond over an adventure and wondered if they had trouble further on in the relationship because of it. I mean for some it is rushing into things.
