I only just got to Fuschia. So, I've been traveling for the past few days with clothes that had been completely soaked through. Whereabouts were ya when the storm hit then? I'm guessing a town or a city.
I was exploring the Burnt Tower and just as we were leaving the storm hit.
We got lost in the forest and honestly would have gotten clobbered by some pokemon or drown in the rain if we didn't have Diana's pack to guide us through the mess.
You know how you can only like...carry six pokemon at a time?
Diana's just kind of got this...well family of dog type pokemon that roam wild and free. She's caught them all so technically they are hers, but she just lets them roam. So they're usually outside of whatever city we're in just...hanging out. Being wild.
That's, kinda really cool. It'd be nice to let my Pokemon roam about but idk if they'd follow me when I travelled about, especially after the storm and all. I wouldn't wanna lose them.
That and they'd get into shit so I couldn't let them do that anyway.
Yeah ur. Mine are less 'we're gonna get into fights with random Pokemon' trouble, more... 'oh that's shiny, it's mine now, Hey Ash, check out this cool thing we took from a bag'. I've already lost count of the number of things I've had to try and give back to people.
We had a lot of that problem when I first got started with Hex. She's built a bit of a refined taste these days for what is and isn't worth stealing but back then? I had a bunch of junk in my backpack every morning.
The tricky thing for my lot is teaching them like...when and where they can steal from. A bigass company that's not gonna miss a missing item or two, that I can let slide. Someone's personal property I can't just ignore, otherwise it'll get out of hand. And if they've taken that shit from someone who needs it or has worked hard for it, then it's just wrong.

Nah, I ain't noble. noble would be like...stealing from the rich and giving to the poor. Or going all out and robbing people who use their money to fuck up people's lives. I just got some standards.
And back home things were different. Money around here is so easy to get. it ain't like that where I'm from.

Heh, yeah. I got real lucky at that Rocket Prom thing. My Pokemon weren't that strong back then cos I'd only just gotten here, and everyone seemed to be trying to snatch Danny - he's a Lucario, I started off with him - so I ended up just going after anything that went for him.
Pretty sure stealing Pokemon should count as kidnapping them really, given how smart they are. Wait, were you around for that shit? What kinda Pokemon did you start with?
Yeah I was there. I had my Absol with me but he's not really a party pokemon so I let him chill. Once the trouble started going down though we bolted. I was still really new too so my pokemon wouldn't have stood a chance.

Stay low to the ground, move behind furniture. The usual stuff you do when you're trying to avoid being an easy target.
Once I was away from the main fighting I hid behind some overturned tables. If anyone got too close I figured I could blind them with the table cloth and beat them with a punch bowl till someone could help me out.

Now that my Mon are stronger and I've got some badges under my belt? I kinda hope those jerks do make another move so I can prove I'm not afraid of them.

There's always going to be people who want to survive and thrive by being smarter then others. It's just a matter of if they take advantage of the less skilled people in an obvious way, or in a subtle way.
And it's up to the rest of us to keep them in check.

There's being 'smarter' than others, and there's kidnapping sentient creatures to abuse. I've got four Pokemon that were used by Team Rocket. And that shit isn't smart. It's just cruel.
I'll happily repay any Rocket the shit they've done to my Pokemon.

Yeah. Like you said, we gotta be ready for the next time they pull shit like that again. It's why I've been training my mons so much. Anyone trying to grab Danny will have a real hard time of it now.
You know I never thought of myself as a pet owner. I loved the horses and animals at the circus when I was little but I never got a cat or anything back home because I figured it wouldn't be fair to the cat since I was so busy.
Yet here I am not more attached to these pokemon then just about any human I know.
Yeah...I just didn't have the space or money for a pet back home. I liked animals plenty, it just wasn't possible.
And these guys are like...way more than the animals I knew or could have as a pet. They got so much personality and they really understand when you talk to them. It's great.
